SelfCare1® is a smart system that blends the best of technology with the best of 4,000 years of knowledge of essential oils. A self-care machine connected to a friendly algorithm that takes care of you, every day, one dose at a time. The proprietary algorithm gives you the opportunity to choose between over 50 mind & body wellness programs utilizing eight pure organic plants extracts.

The SelfCare1® is composed of a connected device, a mobile application and a prefilled cartridge of 8 essential oils facilitating access to well-being for all.

How does it work?

1. Once downloaded to your mobile device, select your desired program from the application.
2. A complete formula will be delivered as a blend of essential oils adapted to your profile; the method of use (topical use, steam inhalation, olfaction); as well as our usage advice, upon your confirmation.
3. The SelfCare1® device instantly delivers, like a coffee machine, your synergy of essential oils with precision and safety.
4. Simply apply your blend according to the selected method of use.

There are over 40 programs grouped into 8 different themes:

1. Nose & throat comfort: Nose comfort , Sinus-free, Soft throat.
2. Digestive comfort: Easy digestion, Bye bye, hiccup, Comfort during travel, Feeling nauseous, Zen belly.
3. Hair vitality: Hair nutrition, Healthy & pure scalp, Hair balance.
4. Daily care: Fresh breath, Healthy ears, Healthy and purified hands, Healthy and purified mouth.
5. Sport & fitness: Joint comfort, Muscle relaxation, Sport on top.
6. Healthy skin: Anti-friction, Goodbye, orange peel skin, Healthy gum, Bye bye, skin tightness, Soothed skin, Firm and toned skin, Balanced skin, Bye bye, sensitive skin, Stop hot skin, Stop those spots, After-sun freshness, Firm and youthful skin, Purified nails and feet.

The cartridge has been designed to work with the SelfCare1® device. Pre-filled, long lasting and recyclable, the cartridge is above all intelligent! It has a chip linked to a proprietary algorithm that defines and adapts the right recipe according to demand, while avoiding the waste of essential oils.

The cartridge contains 8 organic essential oils of: rosewood, tea tree, ravintsara, bitter orange leaf, peppermint, eucalyptus radiata, aspic lavender and exotic basil.

5ml per oil and 40ml for the whole cartridge.

It depends on how many users per machine and how often you use it. While the cartridge will last up to 2 years, we estimate 8 months for a single person, 5 months for 2-3 individuals, and 3 months for 4-5 individuals based on daily usage. The machine will automatically deduct the level of oils left and will let you know when to replace the cartridge.

The full kit costs $399. This price includes the SelfCare1® device, the daily wellness cartridge of 8 organic essential oils, a glass container and an organic grapeseed oil. The device is connected to the SelfCare1® mobile app, which is available and downloadable for free from the App Store & Google Play Store.

An essential oil diffuser allows essential oils to be propagated in the air, while the SelfCare1® offers different methods of use of essential oils by topical use, steam inhalation or olfaction. The SelfCare1® system has been designed to facilitate access to various daily cares by plants, in a secure, faster and precise way, making aromatherapy easier.

Yes, your device requires a Bluetooth connection from your smartphone. However, to be able to use the mobile application, it is necessary to have a 4G or Wifi connection.

Clean the plastic parts, the aluminum base and the screen with a slightly damp clean soft cloth. If any essential oil comes into contact with a plastic part (however slight the amount), clean it immediately. Do not use a coarse cloth or any other material that could scratch the plastic parts.

The container is reusable and must always be cleaned with hot water before use. If the container used is not the one supplied with the device:
- Preferably use a glass container.
- Ensure that it can be cleaned with hot water without damaging it.

Our kit contains 5 mL of organic Tea tree, Peppermint, Ravintsara, Lemon Eucalyptus, Roman Chamomile, True Lavender, Clary sage, Tarragon and 30 mL of Grapeseed oil. They are USDA approved, organic, and chemotyped.

The cartridge was designed to work only with the SelfCare1® device, it is equipped with an intelligent chip, connected to the SelfCare1® device in order to be able to automatically deliver your synergies of essential oils, according to your request and at the right dosage.

The travel kit is a classic kit of essential oil bottles, with 8 essential oils and 1 vegetable oil. Please note, the travel kit is not intended for use with the SelfCare1® device, it is necessary to make the blends yourself with the kit.

The oils in the cartridge are different from those in the travel kit.

SelfCare1® allowing much more complex blends and dosages, the oils in the cartridge have been studied to maximize the number of programs as well as the effectiveness of synergies.

Yes. The oils in our cartridge come from an all-natural organic producer in the south of France and the oils in our travel kit come from an organic producer based in Southern California.

There is no heating of the oils. The cartridge is sealed to avoid any outside contact with the oils.

Aspic lavender essential oil is frequently used to soothe the skin in cases of sunburn, insect sting or jellyfish.

It is analgesic, antibacterial, antiviral, soothing, calming, healing, expectorant, immunostimulant, mucolytic, tonic and fungicide.

It doesn’t have any specific contraindication.

The essential oil of eucalyptus radiata is frequently used for respiratory ailments of viral or bacterial origin.

It is antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, expectorant, immunostimulant, mucolytic, spasmolytic and tonic.
It is contraindicated for children or in cases of asthma. It can be irritating to the eyes.

Rosewood essential oil is often used for cosmetics and skin problems, as well as to strengthen the immune system.

It is analgesic, antibacterial, antiviral, soothing, healing, immunostimulant, sedative, tonic, fungicide and parasiticide.

It doesn’t have any specific contraindication.

The essential oil of bitter orange leaf is mainly used to soothe and reduce anxiety, as well as for cosmetics and skin problems.

It is analgesic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, soothing, calming, healing, muscle relaxant, sedative and spasmolytic.

It is contraindicated in hypotension. It can cause drowsiness.

The essential oil of exotic basil is frequently used for digestive disorders and period pain. It is analgesic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-nausea, soothing, calming, digestive, muscle relaxant, estrogen-like, sedative, spasmolytic and tonic.

It is contraindicated for children and people with liver problems. It can be irritating to the skin and the eyes.

The essential oil of Ravintsara is frequently used for viral diseases, especially respiratory ones.

It is antiviral, expectorant, immunostimulant, mucolytic and nerve tonic.

It doesn’t have any specific contraindication.

The peppermint essential oil is frequently used for digestive disorders.

Its range of properties includes analgesic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-nausea, antiviral, digestive, mucolytic, muscle relaxant and antispasmodic.

People suffering from liver or gallbladder disorders are not advised to use it.

It is highly volatile and can provoke eye irritation.

The tea tree essential oil has a powerful broad spectrum of anti-infectious properties. Amongst others, it is frequently used for oral, ENT and gynecological infections.

It is analgesic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiviral and immunostimulant.

People suffering from liver disorders are advised not to use it.

It can provoke skin irritations.

The Roman chamomile essential oil is frequently used for stress and anxiety issues as well as insomnia.

It is anti-inflammatory, soothing, calming, sedative and antispasmodic.

It doesn’t have any specific contraindication.

It may cause drowsiness.

The essential oil of tarragon is frequently used for digestive pain and allergies.

It is analgesic, anti-nausea, digestive, muscle relaxant and antispasmodic.

People suffering from hormonal disorders are advised not to use it, as well as children under age 7.

The lemon eucalyptus essential oil is frequently used for many problems linked to pain or inflammation and like citronella to repel mosquitoes.

It is analgesic, anti-inflammatory and insect repellant.

It does not have any specific contraindication.

The lavender essential oil is known to be polyvalent. It is frequently used for anxiety problems as well as skin disorders.

It is antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, soothing, calming, assists with scarring, muscle relaxant, sedative and antispasmodic.

It doesn’t have any specific contraindication.

The essential oil of Clary sage has a hormonal property similar to estrogens.

It is frequently used for concerns linked to hormonal de-regulation. It is circulatory, estrogen-like and antispasmodic.

People with hormonal disorders are advised not to use it.

Grapeseed vegetable oil is both antioxidant and nourishing, it is ideal for use in diluting essential oils. It allows essential oils to pass into the blood and penetrates the skin more deeply.

For topical use: you can use another vegetable oil of your choice if you wish, as long as it is suitable for your skin. However, we recommend that you use grapeseed oil which is particularly suitable for aromatherapy.

For steam inhalation: Hot water is the ideal carrier for steam inhalation.

For dry inhalation: there is no need for a dilution carrier.

Shipping options can be found on the checkout page. They depend on the weight of the package, the location, and the delivery method you have chosen. Our prices are indicated in dollars.

Family Self Care may, as part of its commercial activity, offer promotional offers or price reductions over a specified period. Costs may vary according to location and date of arrival. Customers are solely responsible for costs of shipping.

To date we only provide deliveries to the USA.

You benefit from a two (2) year warranty from delivery of the SelfCare1 Product.

If a defect is found, we undertake to either exchange or reimburse the defective product (s).

In this case, we also undertake to reimburse you for the return costs within fourteen (14) days.

If you meet the conditions of our return policies, you must comply with the following instructions.

Your product must be returned to us within 14 calendar days in its original unopened packaging. Upon receipt of your product if you meet the conditions, you will be reimbursed within one month. Your refund will be made by the same means of payment that you used during the initial transaction.
